The Long Island Flyrodders
The Long Island Flyrodders is a social club for people who share a passion for flyfishing and the beautiful places it brings us to. We meet at 7:30 PM on the first Tuesday of each Month, at the Levittown VFW Hall, 55 Hickory Lane, Levittown, NY. (North of Hempstead Turnpike ).
New members are always welcome, come to a meeting and see what we're all about!

Long Island Chapter of Trout Unlimited is to unite varied stakeholders around the advocacy, protection, conservation, and restoration of rivers and streams so future generations can experience the enjoyment of wild and native trout and salmon in the region, the state, and the nation.
Conducting Casting Clinics
Holding monthly chapter meetings & events to keep members informed and active
Coordinating frequent fishing outings to local waters.
Running an annual fundraiser bag with the support of our work.
Fly Tying Events
Conducting and participating in stream cleanups
Restoring trout habitat in Nassau & Suffolk Counties in Long Island, NY
Running Trout in the Classroom in the local schools as part of an educational curriculum
Engaging veterans in our chapter
Partnering with agencies and environmental organizations in the region
A community for Long Island parents and kids who love to fish!
Share kid-friendly fishing spots across LI
Coordinate group meetups
Post about local fishing camps, tournaments, and teams
Offer tips & tricks, tackle suggestions, and gear reviews
Build a fun and safe community for youth anglers ages 5–16
Let’s create memories, learn together, and build the next generation of anglers – one cast at a time!
