Angling Educator Course is designed for anyone interested in providing fishing skills and knowledge to their unit. The training prepares you to give an informative and interactive PowerPoint presentation that covers everything listed in the "Fighing 101 Presentation" flyer plus an in-person look at the tools and props necessary for the Scouts to learn what they need before heading to the water. Scouts, Leaders and Parents will have a good understanding of what they need and what to expect for a fishing trip.

An added bonus for Cub Scouts, if you combine the Fishing 101 Presentation with a Fishing Stations event that incorporates the Hands-On Activities, and knowledge-based stations you will have successfully covered all the Fishing Belt Loop Requirements across all ranks with the exception of actually going fishing. All this is covered in the Angling Educator Course.
